1-19-14 Yearly Painting

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh well I can finally say that the yearly painting has been completed. I've never spent more than 20 hrs on a piece, so needless to say that this painting felt like a marathon.

I would say that I'm definitely satisfied with the improvement! Also that this is probably my best piece right now. This time I spent 70 hours on the piece over 3 weeks, and as happy as I am with it, I do think that I could add to it with more time(like lights and details on some of the more plain buildings). I'm really happy with how the planets, details, and hover car turned out though.

I'll be getting two 3x2 ft prints of this; one on foam board and one on printer paper, and I'll be putting up pictures of them up in my dorm. While I don't have any site up to sell prints yet online, I can sell to people at the University of Alabama since I get them printed here, so let me know if you are interested in buying one.

I can't wait until next years and I'm so glad this one's finally finished!
